Rhapsody in Green is the blog of POET, a biofuels company located in Sioux Falls, S.D. Although we may discuss our industry from time to time, this is not primarily a blog about the ethanol industry. It is an inside look at an ethanol company and what its people are accomplishing on a daily basis.

Rules of Engagement:

  • We are committed to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable.  We will go out of our way to accommodate all viewpoints, but we reserve the right to delete comments that are spam, off-topic or defamatory.

  • By making any comment on this site, you are warranting that it does not infringe any intellectual property rights or break any laws.

  • Since we are committed to maintaining an open atmosphere, we will not be held responsible for the comments left on this site. Allowing a comment to stay on our site does not constitute our agreement with any sentiment expressed in any comment(s).

Our promises:

  • Rhapsody in Green will be written by POET employees, with differing viewpoints and opinions. We want to bring you multiple voices from the company, from lab technicians to corporate executives, rather than just those of POET's communications department.

  • Our goal is to post several times per week, if not daily. Due to the fast pace of the industry we live in, daily or even weekly posts may not always be possible. As we seek to change the world, we will stop as often as we can to tell the world about what we're doing.

  • We promise to be honest and truthful. If we make mistakes, we will acknowledge and correct them as quickly as possible. We will make every attempt to appropriately source other blogs, web sites and sources mentioned in this blog. Linking to another site, either by us or others, does not constitute an endorsement by POET of the viewpoint presented on that site. We are not responsible for the content of other sites to which we or others commenters provide links.

  • Although we will make our best effort to be accurate, all information on this site is presented "as is" with no warranty or guarantee of accuracy.
